In-Person PsychotherapyGrowth and change are a constant and exciting part of being alive. However, change is rarely smooth. It can alternate between periods of pain and ease. However, this change can manifest as a call to become more conscious of your personal evolution, and you can become more active in shaping its course.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, family conflict, grief, HIV/AIDS, relationship difficulty, self-esteem, stress, or anything else that has had an impact on your life—I would encourage you to take that first step and reach out. My holistic, life-affirming approach considers the following components: clarify the problem, identify successful interventions, generate effective coping strategies, and support the emotions that accompany change. We will strive to bring positive change by putting you in charge of your experience. Every day, I work with teenagers and adults and use a wide range of treatments—cognitive behavioral therapy, brain spotting, psychoanalysis, and components of internal family systems. It’s easy to feel like you’re alone in the struggles, fears, and questions you face. You are not alone; in fact, you are in the company of most people. |
